this is Phil's Story ...

than alot of riders with two
He told alittle of his story at the Failure to Yield meeting
on 1-19-03 at the Neon Moon. Phil was hit by a negligent
driver who paid no attention to a no passing zone and pulled
out from behind a car into his lane on a 2 lane farm road
between Maypearl & Waxahachie. This happened on Aug. 13, 2000. The driver was a young girl who walked away from that wreck with no injuries & the only real consequences for her negligence was having to wait while her car was being repaired by her insurance company. She did not think to apologize to Phil for nearly taking his life... and despite the loss of his right arm Phil has learned to ride again. Harley riders are a rare breed... for sure.
